Bible Quote Jan 4th Titus 2:11-12

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,”Titus 2:11-12
It feels strange to talk of control in a world where self indulgence is king. Good people want Hope and Change and hucksters misappropriate the words and deliver environmental extremism.

God offers salvation. It is ok to fail. But it is not ok to be deceitful and unkind. When one follows God they walk his path, which may not be the path of least resistance.

When the Devil promises what God does not offer, the sober adult refuses. Even the word ‘sober’ is mistrusted by some. It is hard for the child to know who to trust, and incumbent on the sober adult to teach them.

Those that are tricked. Those that are hoodwinked. They are saved, even so. But there is a cost. For the offer of salvation is open to all, but those who refuse it are lost. It is incumbent on the saved to help those who may be lost by pointing to God.
